GREETINGS FROM TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH,
Organized in 1953, we are a missional church, meeting people where they are and encouraging, nurturing and supporting them on their faith journey. One of our primary missions at Trinity is to nurture the wellbeing of children in our community and around the world. Trinity Daycare Center, our non-profit Christian daycare facility, has been serving the needs of children and families in Havelock for 39 years. We also support Samaritans Purse - Operation Christmas Child to facilitate the spreading of the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ in its far-reaching mission.
Trinity Presbyterian Church is small in number, but great in spirit. To that end we do our very best to support military families during their time in Havelock/Cherry Point. We welcome everyone to attend our 11:00 Sunday morning worship service. Our Sunday school meets from 9:45-10:30 in the church reading library. Refreshments are available in our fellowship hall both prior to Sunday School and following the Sunday worship service.
Our session (elders) is very active in the overall operation of the church with committees for Worship, Christian Education, Daycare, Mission, Congregational Care/Fellowship, Finance, and Building and Grounds. We are fortunate to have very experienced elders at Trinity who do a fine job of keeping things active.
Our Mission Committee is very active in outreach in our community and the world. During 2012, we are planning "a mission a month", with vital missions such as Community home assistance, World Blanket Relief, and support for a missionary family in Thailand, just to name a few.
Trinity Presbyterian Church is Christ centered in our every effort, be it large or small. We encourage each one of you to 'come and see' what we are all about. You may decide to stay!
Grace and Peace to you,
Reverend Shirley Rogers, Pastor
